Saint Laurent in its most recognizable form: asymmetrical, black, short. Since taking over as the brand's creative director in 2016, Anthony Vaccarello has defined the contemporary Saint Laurent through one gesture – the baring of one shoulder, one line, one cut. This dress dates from around 2019, a time when his signature was fully established, and Saint Laurent returned to the red carpets as the number one dress for women who know what they're doing.

Asymmetrical cut, black palette, a blend of crepe, acetate, and viscose – a material with a dense, smooth texture that holds its shape well.
