Authenticity

Our authentication process involves meticulous examination of each product before it reaches our store. This procedure requires comprehensive knowledge of luxury brands and a deep understanding of their production techniques, as well as a very detailed and careful approach.

Product documentation

The first element is accurate and thorough documentation about the specific luxury brand, style and model of the item being authenticated. This includes the brand history, distinctive design elements and unique features of genuine products. This documentation is crucial to identifying any irregularities or inconsistencies during the authentication process.

Material and craftsmanship control

Luxury brands take great pride in their craftsmanship and use of high-quality materials. During the verification process, our team carefully checks the stitching, hardware, and materials such as leather, fabric, or metals. We pay attention to aspects such as precision stitching, construction, and detail. Luxury brands often have specific craftsmanship features, such as engraved signatures, logos, or metal finishes.

Branding and logo verification

At this stage, we check the accuracy and consistency of brand logos, fonts and placement. Counterfeit products usually have flaws or inconsistencies in the logo, such as incorrect font, misspelling or incorrect placement of the logo. Comparisons with official brand references through our documentation ensure the accuracy of authentication.

Evaluation of serial numbers and date codes

Many luxury brands use serial numbers, date codes or holograms as internal means of tracking and authentication. Our team is familiar with specific brand coding systems, formats and placement. Counterfeit products often have poorly engraved or fake codes that can be identified by comparing them to official brand products.

Packaging and documentation evaluation:

Authentic luxury items typically come with high-quality packaging, including dust bags, boxes, authenticity cards, or care books. During authentication, our team checks these items for brand-specific details such as logo placement, print quality, and material consistency. Inferior packaging materials or poorly reproduced brand logos may indicate a counterfeit product.

Trusted partners

The last element that should be mentioned is the source of the products. We import our products from France and Italy or other European Union countries, only from trusted suppliers with whom we work closely. Additionally, most of the products offered on Gibbarosa have full documentation. Most of the products you will find on Gibbarosa are unused or in perfect condition. Quality and authenticity are most important to us.
