Spring-Summer 2020. The last major collaboration Dries Van Noten announced before his departure from the brand – a joint collection with Christian Lacroix. Two couturiers who did the same thing throughout their careers: painted clothes. The collection turned out to be one of the best-received in 2020, and today, archival pieces from SS20 appear at exclusive auctions and quickly disappear.
Bustier in a floral print – orange, yellow, red on a black background. The form is classic Lacroix: fitted, with a distinct waistline, to be worn alone or under a blazer. Detachable, adjustable straps – the top can be worn as a classic strapless bustier or with straps, depending on the occasion.
