Our story

Gibbarosa is pre-loved luxury I choose myself, piece by piece: clothing, bags and jewellery you won't easily find elsewhere. The idea took years to form, and the decision came on a ski trip in 2023. I was born and raised in France, which is where most of the pieces come from.

Gibbarosa is my Sicilian grandmother's maiden name. Rina has impeccable style and a deep respect for craftsmanship. She can put together the finest fabrics, textures and colours as if it were the simplest thing in the world.

Rina as well as my mother always repeated: 'Do what you want with your life.' Gibbarosa is my version of that.

Gibbarosa is full of treasures that are hard to find twice. Unusual pieces, often straight from the runway collections of great Maisons: limited Hermès scarves, Galliano-era Dior, Tom Ford Gucci era, Chanel by Lagerfeld. Some are vintage, some have never been worn.

Most come from France, from Paris auction houses including Drouot, which I've worked with for several years. Others come from trusted partners in Italy and Japan.

I examine every piece myself before it goes online: material, stitching, hardware, stamps and serial numbers. For some pieces I also buy an Entrupy certificate. More on our Authenticity and Condition grading pages.
